Tridem lowboy trailer in the Mach 6 shop bay under the overhead crane

Trailer Repair & CVIP — Edmonton

One trailer. One shop.One shutdown.

Brakes, wheel ends, suspension, structure, lighting and the inspection — mechanical and structural work on commercial trailers, done in the same visit. Because a trailer with a cracked crossmember and a dragging brake is one visit, not two.

Proof of capability

Capability you can check before you commit

Authorized CVIP inspection station, so the inspection and the repairs it finds happen in one booking instead of two. Overhead cranes and a dedicated heavy-duty alignment bay for tractors and trailers at any axle count — the units most shops send elsewhere stay here. Structural welding done in-house, which is why a cracked crossmember found on Tuesday doesn't become a second vendor's booking on Friday.

What Mach 6 handles

The problems you bring us

Trailer Air Brake Service & Adjustment

“One axle's doing all the work.”

Brake imbalance is the quiet expense — the tractor's linings pay for the trailer's dragging or lazy brake long before anything red-tags. Pushrod stroke measured across every axle, not eyeballed. Foundation brake, chamber, slack adjuster and valve work, with the findings written down so you can see which axle was actually the problem.

Trailer Wheel-End, Hub & Bearing Service

“It's leaking oil at the hub again.”

Wheel ends, bearings, seals, hubs and drums or rotors. A repeat seal failure is usually telling you about the bearing adjustment or the hub itself, not the seal — so we look upstream before we sell you the same part twice.

Trailer Suspension, Landing Gear & King Pin Repair

“It doesn't sit level and it fights on the yard.”

Air-ride, spring and walking-beam suspension repair, landing gear, king pin and coupling work. Ride height and geometry get checked as a system — a trailer that eats tires is rarely telling you about the tires.

Structural Welding, Crossmember & Frame Repair

“There's a crack in the crossmember.”

Structural welding, crossmember and frame repair, done in-house by welders who work on this equipment daily. This is the block the whole page turns on: a structural finding does not stall the rest of the job, and it does not become a second vendor and a second week. See Welding & Fabrication for the full capability.

Trailer Lighting, Wiring & ABS Diagnostics

“The ABS lamp comes on cold and clears by noon.”

Lighting, wiring and ABS fault diagnosis. Winter corrosion at the seven-way and the harness is the usual suspect, and it is exactly the fault that passes a warm-shop test. We reproduce the conditions before we replace anything, and we document what was ruled out.

Trailer Doors, Seals & Attachment Hardware

“The door won't seal and it's costing you every winter.”

Doors, seals, hinges and attachment hardware — the items that fail slowly, fail in winter, and get deferred until they cost a load.

Trailer CVIP Inspection & Repair

“The CVIP's due and I can't lose the unit twice.” Authorized inspection station. A failed item becomes a repair and a re-inspection in the same visit wherever parts allow, so the trailer leaves compliant instead of booked for a second appointment. The inspection paper lands in the unit's digital file.

Trailer repair, in full

Every system this page covers

Trailer Brake Repair

Air brake service, adjustment and component replacement, with pushrod stroke measured across every axle rather than eyeballed.

Trailer Suspension Repair

Air-ride, spring and walking-beam suspension work, with ride height and geometry checked as a system.

Trailer Wheel-End & Bearing Service

Bearings, seals, hubs, drums and rotors — diagnosed before replaced, so a repeat failure gets solved, not repeated.

Trailer Structural Welding

In-house structural welding on frames and crossmembers, by welders who work on this equipment daily.

Trailer Frame Repair

Crossmember and frame repair, including the corrosion and stress-crack damage an Alberta winter causes.

Trailer Lighting & Wiring Repair

Lighting, wiring and seven-way connector repair — winter corrosion is the usual cause, and the hardest fault to catch warm.

Trailer ABS Diagnostics

ABS fault diagnosis tested against live data, not replaced on a guess. An ABS lamp is a CVIP item as much as a handling one.

Trailer Door & Seal Repair

Doors, hinges and seals — the failures that happen slowly, in winter, and get deferred until they cost a load.

Trailer CVIP Compliance Inspections

Authorized CVIP inspection station. A failed item becomes a repair and a re-inspection in the same visit wherever parts allow.

The commitments in writing

Two promises. Both in writing.

The Downtime Promise

Inspection results within 48 hours of your scheduled booking — guaranteed. A comprehensive estimate within 24 hours of diagnostic completion. Worst case, that's 72 hours from drop-off to a number you can act on — and you'll hear from us before then, not after. Every unit leaves with a condition report and a digital vehicle inspection you can make decisions from. No surprises. No delays. Just results.

The Estimate Lock

Serial estimating — approve one number, then watch it grow — is one of the top three issues for fleets in this industry. Our Estimate Accuracy & Approval Policy ends it: once approved, your estimate is locked on price and scope. Changing a locked estimate takes manager approval — and nothing changes without yours.

How the process works

Four steps, same order, every time

Same sequence whether it's one unit or a fleet program — that's what makes the 48-hour and 24-hour commitments something we can actually hold.

  1. Tell us what's down

Unit, VIN or plate, symptom, and whether the CVIP is due. If the tractor is coming too, say so and we'll book them together.

  2. We diagnose before we quote

Inspection and diagnostics come first, with photos of what we find — you approve from evidence, not a phone description.

  3. Your number, inside 24 hours

Parts and labour split out, structural work included. Approved means locked — changes take manager approval, and nothing changes without yours.

  4. Back on the road, on the record

Repaired, re-inspected where the work calls for it, and filed to the unit's digital history.

Every job leaves here with a record: what was inspected, what was found, what was approved and what was done. That record is what turns a repair into a maintenance history you can plan against.

FAQs

Questions fleets ask us

Can the trailer and the tractor be done in the same visit?

Yes, and it's usually the better call — one drop, one pickup, one inspection record. Tell us when you book and we'll schedule the bay time together.

Do you do structural welding on trailers?

Yes, in-house. Structural welding, crossmember and frame repair and trailer attachment work all happen here — which is why a structural finding doesn't stall the rest of the job.

Don't take the website's word for it

Ask to see the paper. A real condition report with the inspection photos, and a locked estimate — before you commit the trailer.
