Heavy-Duty Truck & Trailer Alignment
Alignment is a tire budgetyou can control.
Tires and fuel are two of your biggest line items, and geometry quietly spends both. Trucks, trailers and heavy vocational units on a dedicated alignment bay — measured, corrected, and documented with before-and-after numbers in the unit's file. And if alignment won't fix it, we tell you before we charge you.

Proof of capability
Capability you can check before you commit
Mach 6 is an authorized CVIP inspection station and Sennebogen's authorized service provider, working out of a 40,000 sq. ft. Edmonton facility with overhead cranes, a dedicated heavy-duty alignment bay and the diagnostic tooling to confirm a fault instead of guessing at it.
What Mach 6 handles
The problems you bring us
Tire Wear Diagnosis
“Steer tires gone in half their kilometres.”
Feathering, cupping, one shoulder worn bald — the pattern names the cause: toe, camber, or a worn component upstream. New rubber without the diagnosis just resets the same clock. We read the wear before we set an angle.
Steering Pull & Handling
“It pulls, and the driver corrects it all day.”
A pull is caster or geometry — and it's also driver fatigue, rolling resistance and fuel. Corrected on the bay, verified on the road, documented in the file.
Trailer Axle Alignment
“The trailer's eating tires too.”
A misaligned trailer axle scrubs its own tires and pushes the tractor — aligning the tractor alone leaves the cost in place. Trailer axle correction, including placement geometry within Alberta's kingpin limits.
Suspension & Steering Inspection First
“Will alignment even fix it?”
We answer that before charging you. Worn kingpins, bushings or steering components get identified first — because alignment over worn parts doesn't hold, and re-doing it isn't a service, it's a refund waiting to happen.
Multi-Axle & Tandem Alignment
“Six axles, three opinions.”
Steer, drive and trailer axles, tandems and multi-axle setups — full measurement on a dedicated heavy-duty bay, corrected as a system, not one axle at a time.
Documented Results
“Prove it moved the needle.”
Before-and-after measurements land in the unit's file. Next tire invoice, you'll have the numbers to compare — that's the tire budget under control.
What are the signs of a poor truck or trailer alignment
Signs of a misaligned truck or trailer include:
- Toe misalignment: Uneven tire wear, a noticeable vehicle pull to one side while driving, or difficulty keeping the vehicle centered in the lane.
- Caster misalignment: Unstable steering, difficulty maintaining a straight line, or increased driver fatigue due to constant corrections.
- Camber misalignment: Tilting of the wheels, uneven tire wear, reduced stability, and compromised handling during turns or on uneven surfaces.
- Vibration or shaking: Steering wheel or vehicle vibrations, especially at higher speeds, which can indicate alignment issues.
- Irregular tire wear patterns: Feathering, cupping, or scalloping on tire treads that reduces tire lifespan and affects overall vehicle performance.
- Increased fuel consumption: Misalignment increases rolling resistance, leading to higher fuel usage.
- Noise while driving: Unusual squealing or grinding sounds coming from the tires, particularly when turning, can be a sign of alignment problems.
If you notice any of these symptoms, it's crucial to have your truck and trailer alignment checked and corrected promptly. Addressing misalignment early prevents premature tire wear, improves safety, enhances fuel efficiency, and ensures a smoother driving experience.

Proper axle placement for trailers
Alberta sets a kingpin-to-rear-axle range for tridem semi-trailers of 20' 6" to 41' 0" (6.25–12.5 m). We check axle placement against that range as part of the alignment and inspection process — ask us about where your specific trailer configuration lands.

The commitments in writing
Two promises. Both in writing.
The Downtime Promise
Inspection results within 48 hours of your scheduled booking — guaranteed. A comprehensive estimate within 24 hours of diagnostic completion. Worst case, that's 72 hours from drop-off to a number you can act on — and you'll hear from us before then, not after. Every unit leaves with a condition report and a digital vehicle inspection you can make decisions from. No surprises. No delays. Just results.
The Estimate Lock
Serial estimating — approve one number, then watch it grow — is one of the top three issues for fleets in this industry. Our Estimate Accuracy & Approval Policy ends it: once approved, your estimate is locked on price and scope. Changing a locked estimate takes manager approval — and nothing changes without yours.
How the process works
Four steps, same order, every time
Same sequence whether it's one unit or a fleet program — that's what makes the 48-hour and 24-hour commitments something we can actually hold.
Tell us what you're seeing
Wear pattern, pull, vibration — or just the tire invoice trend.
Inspect before we align
Suspension and steering checked first; if alignment won't fix it, you hear that before we charge for one.
Your number, inside 24 hours
Parts and labour split out. Approved means locked.
Measured, corrected, documented
Before-and-after numbers filed to the unit.
Every job leaves here with a record: what was inspected, what was found, what was approved and what was done. That record is what turns a repair into a maintenance history you can plan against.
FAQs
Questions fleets ask us
Why align a trailer?
A misaligned trailer axle scrubs tires and pushes the tractor — aligning the tractor alone leaves the cost in place.
Will you tell me if alignment won't fix it?
Yes, before charging. Worn steering and suspension components have to be addressed first, or the alignment won't hold.
Don't take the website's word for it
Ask to see the paper. A real condition report and a locked estimate — before you commit the unit.

“They helped my company out with a bunch of CVIPs on our commercial vehicles and did great — from the first meeting, diagnosis, and repair. These guys excel in every other way.”
